I've been fascinated by photographic art since I was a teenager. While studying for my degree in photography, I was drawn to documentary photography until I discovered collage, and then book arts. Since then, my photographs have become more abstract and emotional, providing a document not only of an event or place, but also a document of the feelings, sense of spirit, emotion, and breath of a moment. I'm interested in not only protraying reality, but showing a reality that is more REAL than what you see. Oftentimes this means adding collage, paint, sewing, or other dimension to my photographs. Here, however, are some of my "straight" photos. The drawing and painting happens inside of the camera rather than with crayons and brushes.

These photographs are available as 4x6 inch prints, matted in a coordinating mat that will fit into a 8x10 inch frame. Each print is $20.
